What’s included?
- Protects against loss due to the depreciation of a vehicle’s value
- Cover lasting between 2 and 5 years depending on your needs
- One off cash payments available up to £50,000
- Available for private and commercial vehicles
- Covers a variety of ownership options – from paid in full to lease agreements
- Change of vehicle available subject to your new vehicle meeting the GAP cover eligibility criteria
- Cover starting from up to 180 days after the purchase of the vehicle
- Hire vehicle for up to 28 days while you await your payout
- Covers up to £250 reimbursement of your motor excess
Who is eligible for GAP Cover:
- Vehicles valued between £7,500 to £150,000
- Sales invoice dated within the last 180 days from a VAT registered dealer or leasing company
- Vehicles should be already insured under comprehensive cover
- We only cover vehicles made for the UK market
GAP cover is not available for:
- Modified vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles
- Vehicles used for competitions or rallies, track days, racing, pace making, speed testing, reliability trials or off-road use
- Vehicles used for driving tuition (unless specifically agreed by the insurer)
- Short-term self-drive hire vehicles
